Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, grilled and sliced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a bit of spice)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Large lettuce leaves (such as iceberg or butter lettuce)

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Cucumber, julienned

  • Red onion, thinly sliced

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a bowl. Rub this mixture over the chicken breasts. Grill the chicken until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side. Let it rest, then slice into strips.

  2. In a bowl, mash the avocados. Stir in lime juice, chili flakes (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.

  3. Lay out the lettuce leaves and spread a generous amount of the avocado mixture on each. Top with the grilled chicken strips.

  4. Add cherry tomatoes, julienned cucumber, thinly sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro to each wrap.

  5. Fold the lettuce around the fillings to form wraps.

  6. Serve the Chicken & Avocado Lettuce Wraps immediately.
